Rinoa wasn't sure what there was to be awkward about so for her, at least, this wasn't awkward at all. Well, there was the whole part about strange new world and all, but that's not really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things was it?

So she just nodded and smiled up at Seifer cheerfully, if a little tiredly, before answering.

"Of course. Marco's pretty nice."

"If that's how you want to say it, sure."

Seifer turned his attention back to Rinoa. She was the same as ever. Even that smile could take him back ages. It was hard not to stare. Instead he just crossed his arms.

"So whattaya think of this place?"

Totally avoiding the real subject, but he didn't even know where to start.

Rinoa was rather used to Seifer's grumpiness by now. Typically when he said one thing she just had to remember to believe the opposite. This wasn't always the case, but with most feelings it was pretty much the way it worked.

So 'If that's how you want to say it, sure.' translated more or less into 'Yeah, he's pretty alright.' as far as she can tell.

"Well that is what I just said, silly. So of course that's how I wanted to say it."

Don't worry Seifer, for now your secret was safe with her. Though it wasn't unlikely that some of the others already knew how to translate Seiferese too.

"It's...kind of a mess." Which was an understatement considering. "It looks like a war zone or something! Some of the people I've met are pretty nice though."

As far as she knew this was the real subject so it's not like she was waiting for any grand reveal or anything.

"Heh... They ain't bad."

You know. As far as things went. He waited a bit before pointing at a nearby house. Talking outside in the open wouldn't do anything, right, sure...

"Hungry?"
