A dream where she was trapped within one place was nothing unusual for her.

In the dream, she was sinking further and further in despite that she was attempting to find a way out--a way back to where she belonged. Without him, she had lost all reason to exist. And yet, Discedo was not the world where she belonged, either.

When she dies, it's like she's finally swimming back to the surface she longed to find. She wasn't scared of death. Rather, death was always something she had prepared herself for.

And so, she finally stirs in her sleep--her movements are unusually gentle for a witch that was known so well for her cruelty. But, it feels like she's awakening from a long night's rest. Blue eyes blink open--and for a second or two, she can only take in her surroundings.

At that, she stops--her face reddening a bit as her eyes widen. She stiffens a little in his hug, unused to the affection before returning that very hug, her arms wrapping around him.

He was about to say something, but Battler stopped himself. Any words would ruin their moment.

For now he just wanted to embrace her.

The Golden Witch is the one to loosen her grip, cackling a bit. "... Shall we go? Knowing that sister of yours, she is only looking for you at this very moment! However, I would not mind if she found us like that, see...? I would want to see the look on her face if she was to become angry of us being like this."

"Haha, you're right. Ange doesn't know the truth, does she? The one that's in Discedo is the piece Bernkastel pulled.

I'm sorry I couldn't be there for her when she needed me the most. However, I do have obligations towards my wife as well.

I don't want to tell her the truth for now."

If he had choice, Battler would prefer it if he could have Ange forget all about it but life's not that convenient.

"Yeah, we should go. I'll open the door for you, Beato. Ladies first."

Battler gestures Beato towards the door.

She grins widely. "Do they not say that it is dangerous here...? What kind of man are you, allowing his wife to go first?" She cackles.
