One of the things the ghosts would find if they wandered into Latimir was a family of mutant turtles, one of which is currently painting his bedroom wall One was a mess of black blocks with dark blue above it and he was now painting little white squares onto the black blocks, eventually it would look like the New York sky line at night, right now however it was incomplete and messy looking.

Not that Mikey minded, art was meant to be messy, It was one of the reasons he liked it.

Eventually one ghost rose from the floor behind the unexpected turtle. She looked left, then right, and finally forward when she saw the paint on the wall. The ghost levitated and drifted towards Mikey's shoulder height. She remained there hovering behind the turtle only observing.

Mikey was caught up in his painting not noticing the ghost at all, at least not until he turned to get some more paint on his brush, then he saw what was hovering over his shoulder.

The resulting scream could probably be heard on the other side of the lake it was so loud.

The ghost simply smiled and floated there. Perona was used to people's fear, and watching Mikey was like watching another episode on television. Oh yeah, this one wasn't about to budge.

I want in on this lol (Casa de Meryl) luke_triton November 9 2010, 19:08:36 UTC
As per instructions, Luke was hanging about in Casa de Meryl.

He was sitting facing the window to the street, chewing on the back of his pen as he worked on an old puzzle he'd never finished. He was glad he'd managed to keep his bag with him in the transfer to Discedo. Since the last thing he remembered doing was being on a train with the Professor, he'd had a few puzzle books in his bag. And they were keeping him sufficiently entertained.

At least for now.

He got that right because a ghost's head passes through a wall looking around. Scanning the room, it spots a kid working on something. Well this got the ghost curious. The hollow swoops in and hovers just above Luke's shoulder to get a glance. The puzzle looked complicated it made the ghost rub it's head and it's lip frowns.

Maybe, if I put 3 here, and move the 9 to the lower left hand corner--that might make all the rows and columns equal the right number.

He could feel something peering over his shoulder. At first, he ignored it, because he was almost done. But when the presence didn't go away--and also didn't make a noise (or produce it's head to get pet, like Claire would)--he turned around.

If the entire town didn't hear the startled yelp he let out, most of his house probably did.

"U-uh...h-hello Mr. G-Ghost...?" Maybe, if he pretended he wasn't terrified, the ghost would think he was boring. And go away.

First off, there was no 'Mr'. The ghost glared at the kid and stuck out it's tongue like it just had a bad taste. It was that or it didn't like that hard puzzle. The ghost hovered around the desk to meet with Luke on the other shoulder. Although he tried to hide his fear, it didn't mean this one was about to leave. Not just yet.

Gohl || OH GOD WHY MARIA XD silent_feathers November 9 2010, 20:52:16 UTC
In the weeks following the invasion, Maria Auditore found herself constantly cleaning and, otherwise, keeping herself busy. And today was no different as she swept an old broom across the floor of the lobby, watching the dust swirl up into the air before settling back down. The older woman continued this action in relative silence, her body automatically going through the motions until she was satisfied with her work.

"Beh ... il pavimento è fatto. Ora le finestre," she sighed and moved to one of the windows, dusting the glass with an old rag. This certainly was not the work for a noble woman to be doing but Maria did not complain. Working kept unwanted thoughts from invading her mind...

((Translation: Well... the floor is done. Now the windows.))

Well one ghost decided to come for a visit. Now who or what would live in a place like this? To find the answer, it was time to get a closer look. At one of the windows, it found a woman with an odd dress. The ghost drifts to that window and passes it's head through it. If the noble was right at the window where the ghost just came, well they may meet face to face.

At the moment, the Italian noble's back was turned as she bent down to the bucket of water at her feet. She rinsed the old rag to rid it of the gathering dust particles before standing up to finish the task at hand.

As she rose up, her hand was placed against one side of the window and it took her a second for her eyes to move towards the middle of the window panel. There, right in front of her face, was a strange sight. Brow furrowed, Maria had a ten second delayed reaction before her mind registered the frightening, transparent visage.

"Dios mio!" she cried, taking a step back in fright and, to her misfortune, the bucket collided against the back of her feet. The action causes Maria to fall down the floor and she cries out as the pain strikes up her back.

The ghost couldn't help but let out a laugh when the noble fell. The spirit slowly merged out of the glass and chanted at what it does best.

"Negative. Negative. Negative."

Almaz was being a loser and loitering in the main entrance of the Latimir apartment building. He knew he needed to explore the city and get to know it, after all it was looking like he would be stuck there for quite a while. Yet... the monsters and other things worried him greatly. Also, the knowledge that all his best skills were unusable due to this inflected silence status, made his desire to go out near the monsters lessen even more. Not being able to finish off enemies in a sing;e hit could be dangerous....

"I cant just stand here all day! A hero would never be scared of exploring their new surroundings. I will learn this city and do my best," he raised a fist up, determined to be a good example, and set a foot forward ready to, at least try, conquer his fear.

Is this person for real? One of Perona's ghosts hovered just above Almaz. Well, all what he thought was about to change. The ghost swooped in from behind Almaz and right through from his back to his chest.

The result was instantaneous, he doubled over on hands and knees, head bent down in total despair.

"There's no way I can go out there... Life is pointless and worthless."

The ghost laughs as it descents in front of Almaz chanting at what it does best.

Up in the Sky.... invisibill November 9 2010, 22:34:52 UTC
Danny had been making his way back home while trying to avoid both monsters and anyone who might take an interest in his presence. Meaning he was high up in the sky and not planning on coming down until he was right over Latimir.

Just in time because right above the roof tops, three of Perona's ghosts just came through the top of the building. They flew above the roof's building unaware Phantom was on his way.

And Danny tenses and looks around as his ghost sense goes off, just in time to spot them coming through the roof. Ghosts? In his building? Oh, this was so on.

He rapidly drops down until he is hovering right in front of them.

"Going somewhere?"

The ghosts froze in place and tilt their heads when they heard Danny's voice. One pointed left, the other pointed right, and the middle one pointed below answering Danny's question with their chant.

"Negative. Negative. Negative."

Doesn't this chant sound familiar?
