"Hi, Cube!"

Luke smiled, his bag carefully over his shoulder, notebook tucked in his pocket with a pencil. They were looking for supplies, of course, but he'd certainly be taking notes so he'd have a good idea as to how to get around himself.

"I don't mind. It's nice to meet you," Luke said to Cube's friend. "I'm Luke. What's your name?"

Flandre had taken off at some point, after Cube turned to smile at her but before a...small boy appeared. She was only armed with a parasol, but didn't seem in the least bit concerned.

She is also quite curious! And is fluttering over Cube's shoulder to get a better look at this stranger.

"Hello, Luke! I'm Flandre."

The vampire's iron and rainbow prism wings don't need to flap, not even to hover, but...well, old habits.

"Hi, Miss Flandre." If Luke was phased by the fluttering person, he did everything he could to not show it. After all, it would be very ungentlemanly to stare. But the shiny wing-like things that were multi-colored behind Flandre's back were both something he'd never seen and very pretty.

Luke deliberately pulled out his notebook, writing 'map' on the first page to refocus himself. "Where are we going to be looking? I'd like to start making myself a map so I know how to get around."

[ooc: I crashed Flandre's application. Please tell me she's had some people-eating in the last week X_x; Luke's friendly by nature but he's already at critical mass from the whole "I'm-in-another-world" situation. Flandre deciding that he's human and she's hungry might be the last straw...though it would probably be really funny, regardless.]

If only Cube knew a bit more about Luke would he smile a bit more truely at the young boy's attempts of being a gentleman. Instead, he focused on where they were going. "I was thinking, perhaps he should head to Ingles Trail. That's where the majority of stores are and the large one I think we'll have the most luck in."

The demon gave the street another look before heading that way. "A map is very handy. I once made one too. I'll make sure to point things out along the way so you may take note."
