The scent of someone familiar was what brought her here in the first place. Staying mostly to shadows, moving silently, a true phantom. Sai watches Leo, trying to read him.

Though then the coppery tinge scent of blood enters the air which causes the shape-shifter to leave the shadows with a worried expression on her face.

"Leo?"

Leo startles, then curses himself for his inattention. The voice is so familiar and it takes all of his strength to just turn around and face her. The human shape threw him off for a moment; but he would never forget those eyes. No matter what they looked like.

"...Xi." He felt odd, not knowing what he should expect or do. Instinct was telling him to back away from the human. His higher mind telling him to stay put and face this.

She frowns a little before going to slowly walk towards him, stopping a few feet away. Waiting for permission to close the space so that she can tend to him or at least figure out where the blood scent is coming from.

She goes to look up at him, trying to read his eyes.

"Leo... You hurt?" SHe just asks as softly as she can to not startle him anymore then she already has, placing a hand on her chest.

"I." He glances down at his thigh, it isn't that bad but it would still have to be treated. "It's not so bad. Just a graze really." There's no permission needed either, he wouldn't flinch at her. Not after everything.

If she remembered...

A deep breath before Leo began again, ignoring the dimming burn on his thigh from his own sword. His mind reeled slightly, but there was at least a small pause when he switched styles.

It was that pause that brought his guard up fully. Another curse to his distraction as he fixes his stance into a fighting one. He wasn't alone.

"Can I help you?"

He turned around to face Eald, raising an eye ridge at the quiet. Ever since he had heard that change in the mage's voice, Leo was wary. The turtle tensed when Eald reached into his pocket, watching him carefully when he nods.

"What is it?"

Someone's was passing the gym and peeked in thinking he might find Raphael inside, instead he found a different brother with a sword wound...what looked like an accidentally self inflicted sword wound.

That was about as normal and Mikey losing his favourite video game.

"Leo the way your going you might cut something off completely before you figure anything out."Mikey's tone was light, but it would be pretty clear to Leo that his little brother was worried.

"Mikey?" Ah...shell, he had thought he'd been pretty much alone. Turtle luck he guessed before looking evenly at Mikey. He could feel the worry coming off the younger turtle, and Leo felt a little guilty that it was because of him.

"I'm alright. It's what happens when you don't pay attention while handling swords."

"Yeah, which is something you learned a long time ago Leo." Mikey said a little revealed, full sentences were better than an 'I'm fine.' even if they were both lies. "So what's got you so distracted?"

Sometimes it still surprised him how observant his little brother was. He knew it, but...he did tend to forget sometimes.

"It's nothing Mikey." ... "Probably just a bad day." Which he was trying not to lead into a very bad week. And failing.

"Sorry to worry you, baby bro."
