When it came to Luffy, silence was quite possibly one of the worst responses you could get from the boy. Ace's jaw clenched, expression tense in concern for his brother and in anger for the state Cirno was in. He reached out to place a hand on a slender shoulder, giving the Straw Hat Captain a firm squeeze. He was here with you brother and he knows your pain. He knows what it's like to have a Nakama murdered.

"...we'll find who did this and make them pay." He spoke low, words laced with blades. No one. NO ONE killed their Nakama and got away with it. Eye for an eye. They'd get what they deserved for making her suffer.

Hitsugaya had returned to the lake after making sure Cirno's body had made it to the hospital, and he was walking the shoreline he could, looking for anything out of place. The festival last night had drawn a large crowd, and any sign of the killer, or killers, had been trampled away. Hitsugaya shook his head, then turned, eyes narrowed, as he caught sight of Luffy and Ace coming down this way. This could get ugly.

Well after whatever happened at the hospital I'm assuming Japan harassment, Seifer made his own check around town before heading back to the lake. Mostly to grab Hitsugaya since he'd found something interesting, but also another check for body parts. He was racking up quite the collection anymore these days it seemed. Unlike Grendel's though the ones he currently had would be disappearing soon enough if they hadn't already.

Spotting Hitsugaya he sped up a bit, hands in his pockets; he had left his coat back at the hospital. Whatever greeting he might have called (certainly nothing respectful, in fact it probably would have ended in '-kun') became an absent thought as he noticed Luffy and Ace. Wasn't Ace supposed to be recovering from chip surgery still? He stopped a little behind Hitsugaya and when he spoke his voice was loud enough for all three of them to hear.

Luffy looked over at Ace, reality slowly sinking back in. Despite his anger, he was still with Ace, and they were still going to get whoever did this. The young captain nodded, turning back to the path they were walking. "Yeah. We will." He didn't plan on letting them get away with that.

As Hitsugaya and Seifer reached his line of sight, Luffy took a breath. He hoped they knew at least a bit of info for them, anything to go off to search for the culprit. "Did you find anything here?" he asked.
