With a bloody Lilith.
With in moments she shifted from child to adult and swore softly in some unknown language. She didn't need her computer to tell her how serious the injuries were.
"Follow me. It's best if I use my lab for this."
She immediately headed for the worn old door in the back of the room and opened it, ignoring the tin can she rigged up for a bell as she stepped into the darkened room, trusting him to follow.
"Set her down on the examining table and tell me exactly what happened."
She was already gathering up everything she needed for this along with typing away at her computer one handed. If anything, multitasking was talent she honed over centuries.

What mercy? What had he done to deserve mercy, of all things? That man deserved little more than a brutal death, the only mercy would be how swift it was.
He tried to jostle those thoughts from his mind as he spoke softly back to her, murmuring gentle words of comfort to her. That everything would be fine. That she'd be okay. They could go out and have tea again soon... Everything would be fine.
But any attempts to smile seemed to almost hurt him, as the hot tears fell down and pattered against her face like rain.
Washu was only dimly heard, but he mindlessly obeyed, following behind her without a single question. It broke him to try her fingers from his cassock as he leaned in to whisper to her again. It would be fine. She'd be safe. There was a doctor here and everything would be good again.
"Someone attacked her. Cut her throat open with a wire." He dared not remove the stole he'd wrapped around her yet. "It's bad, I think it might have cut into her windpipe, and there's a lot of damage to the veins..."

She knew that the procedure would be delicate. She could already see that. The blood loss didn't make things any easier, but she would manage.
"There is trauma to the sternocleidomastiod and the platysma muscles of the neck, the common carotid artery, the external jugular vein,the larynx, and the trachea on top of blood loss."
She sighed and rubbed her eyes.
"It's not as bad as it looks,it is manageable to fix for a genius like me, however what worries me is the blood loss. As you can see, I don't exactly have the proper equipment for a transfusion, but I'm sure we can come up with something. Is she like you?"
As she spoke she was already prepping herself to get straight to work,slipping on what served as surgery clothing for her, old scrubs she had found and cleaned along with gloves. Soon she ( ... )
