It's more likely than you think.
For Discedomas this year, the scientists are bringing back a very old tradition.
One besides humiliating and/or tormenting everyone in the city I mean.
This would, of course, be mistletoe. Traditionally when two people find themselves under it, they have to kiss. However, traditionally, the plant is found only in one or two doorways in a house.
As this is Discedo, that will not be the case. No, in fact, it will be quite invasive! All over ceilings, overhangs, doorways. Anywhere, potentially everywhere. And those who were here last December might recall the other special feature of this Discedo mistletoe: if two people end up under it together, kissing is not always optional. Sometimes (not necessarily always, of course) it'll give the people a pretty nasty shock if they don't kiss. Cheek or forehead is often acceptable for kiss location, but whether that appeases this unholy evil demon-plant (I'm kidding, it's not actually demonic) is ultimately up to you. It also gives a pretty strong shock if people try to remove it, so be careful!
The mistletoe will be appearing riiiiight about........NOW. And it'll be over with in a week, on Christmas night nearing midnight. Have fun!
