THE FOLLOWING OCCURS ON OCTOBER 14TH (that's tomorrow)
RENO'S GROUP:
Prison Camp:
The prison itself has remained mostly unchanged, save for the ash that still falls.
It's eeriely quiet when you enter. You could hear a pin drop with the heavy silence. The atmosphere itself is heavy; the air is stuffy.
Walk around a little. Through the various floors, you see various rooms labeled by color. Upon entering them, you realize that they're all halls of prison cells that have long since been abandoned. You feel unease being around them, like you're being watched. Sometimes, you think you hear someone screaming for your help, but no one's there. You think you see people inside the cells, but it's empty or only bones are left behind. On basement level 3 you find another room labeled Sector Green.
B3 - Sector Green:
You can find writing on the wall, written weakly in blood.
"They say you do not need your name anymore
Your name is Green and that is all you need
to identify you
What is my name?"
Skeletons still occupy the prison cells.
Should you get a closer look and go inside some of them, you will find that even though the lock is gone, you may be unable to open the cell door at first, since it has rusted so much over time.
Various writings on the wall:
"Humans playing God.
It's despicable.
They call to other worlds for help
But it is too late for us now."
"WHO CAN FIND THE CURE FIRST?
We're just guinea pigs to Discedo's and Accido's personal rivalry."
"Green is our name
That is our name
Green is our name
That is our name."
Research Lab - Prison Camp
Located on B2 near the entrance to Sector Green, there is a research lab. Four or five desks are neatly arranged in the room, covered by a thick layer of dust. Most of these desks are neat and orderly, with minimal paper and mess.
There's a short research diary on one desk. The first entries are written very professionally in shorthand; illegible and untranslatable. Many of them contain diagrams of the human body.
Then the entries become increasingly sporadic, messy, full of scribbles, inkblots, torn pages. A large chunk of the book is ripped out entirely. Two of the last entries are visible, although hard to read.
The first is full of ink splotches and scribbled-out words:
"He did it. That bastard re______id it.
I know it was him.
T____aid it was an accident but it was him. He can't hide the truth. He kil_____y Lizzy. Took her away.
Gone.
Gone.
All gone."
The second:
"We meant it for the best."
A short note can be found on the floor between it and another of the desks, on paper similar to the journal, in similarly scrawling handwriting:
"I know what you did. You can't hide it forever."
Below it in red ink, a fish is drawn with much neater, more stable penmanship, possibly by a different hand: perhaps it's a reference to the idiom of a "red herring."
On a different desk, a letter is written in faded type; it looks like a photocopy.
Mister West,
We would like to thank you and your lab for your continuing support, funding and material. As requested, we have enclosed detailed reports of our findings in the form of written reports and a collection of video tapes.
There is more written, but it's too faded and dirty to read.
Video Surveillance Room - Prison Camp
Surprisingly, a bit of electricity still lives in this room. It must be running on a back-up.
A girl is here. A living girl, not a ghost.
She has bright blue eyes, and long black hair.
"Took your time," she says to you plainly. It seems Lolita (
mea_dulcissima) has followed you all to the prison camp.
> "But why?"
"There's something I wanted to know," is her only answer.
She is holding what looks like a VHS tape. She invites you to watch it with her when she slides it into the tape player.
It's a video, taken from up high on the ceiling. The scene is what looks like an operation in progress. The girl on the lab table looks like Green. Her body has been cut open, organs all exposed. Definitely not for the weak of stomach. But Lolita watches it intently. The doctors seem to try different things, removing some organs and then putting them back. At one point, her head is cut open so they can experiment on her brain. Up until that point, she was conscious and screaming in pain.
The gruesome tape ends anti-climatically with Green being sewn back up.
"There are more tapes like this," Lolita says. Even she seems paler than usual.
> "What is it for?"
"That I do not know. I must ask Holden..." She trails off, a hint of distaste in her voice. She leaves the room with the tape. If you try to follow her, she will not protest. In fact, she'll even go home with you.
If there's enough interest, we might have an open log for some of this. It's still up for debate.
Discedo:
BACK AT THE HOME, SOME THINGS WILL BE HAPPENING ON THE MORNING OF OCTOBER 14TH.
This part is Optional. You do not have to participate if you're uncomfortable with it or otherwise wish not to do so.
But back in Discedo, people who are chipped might start to feel strange throughout the day on October 14th. It's a hard feeling to describe, like you're physically unsound even if you're the healthiest right now. Mentally, you're unable to rest. Then it feels like all your emotions and your senses are totally on the edge. You feel extremes; extreme paranoia, extreme fear of everything and everyone around you, extreme anger, possession, alertness, anything like that.
Then (if the mun so chooses because this is optional once again) the people affected will probably be violent (and not necessarily inclined to kill but maybe torture as well, both others and themselves). Deep down their extreme emotions urge them to commit violent acts against their friends and all who surround them. Or even to themselves. Think extreme like Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni!crazy violence (or youtube it). They don't know why they're compelled, but they cannot resist it or stop it once they start. Though consciously they're aware of their actions and may be thinking "I shouldn't be doing this!", it's like their bodies are being controlled by some unknown force that's making them so sensitive to every little thing that they just can't stand it.
The only way to stop them is to knock them unconscious, render them unable to move, or to kill them. Or if they kill themselves. While knocking unconscious is more harmless, once they awaken, they'll be a threat once again unless they're restrained. But no worries, because this event ends on October 16th. On the 16th, the chipped characters will be back to normal, no longer compelled towards violence or feeling heightned emotions.
Once again, this is totally optional.
But it would be cool to have some people do it.
This can also apply to Prydain's and Reno's groups, if they have chipped characters amongst them.
