Summary: Clive's finally decided to just "get on with it".
The Log:
It was a calm afternoon, warm enough and free of falling snow. Clive admired it for a time, before turning to his friend with a smile: "Flora? Why don't we go for a walk while the weather is still nice?" Her cheerful response brought a more genuine smile to his face. So she would keep warm, he gifted her a new jacket; it was intended for Christmas but: "I'd rather you were warm."
And so as they walked, they talked and laughed, discussing the day to day trivial matters that kept each of them going. Sasuke's recent mistake in English, Takato baking bread, their possible move into Dissimulo. Clive, slowly opening up to Flora, told stories of when he was a child, things that made him happy to have lived a childhood at all. It was charming, and as they spoke and laughed, he found that despite all his resistance, there was really no denying the feelings he had for her.
One silent moment, he spun suddenly in front of Flora, ready to speak, except--"Yeee!!} He slips! He flails a bit, regaining his balance. Oh geez that's embarrassing.
