[Conan wasn't alone in his worries. Heiji had nearly similar ones, if not, the same ones. The exhausted teen did manage to catch Conan settled in a chair by himself. He was probably reflecting on the incidents that happened up to this point. Maybe even the new one that Heiji wasn't quite sure about just yet.

The Osaka detective paced over and claimed the chair across from Conan.]

Figgered anythin' out? [He sure hasn't, and that reality was tough to bite down on, but Heiji was starting to accept that his skills and talents weren't enough here, the environment was too controlled.]

There's a break duration between each incident, though th' pattern isn't clear yet.

It seems likely that we are dealing with multiple groups, in addition to the actions of our fellow victims. We don't have enough information yet to determine which parts of the pattern were caused by which group.
