Summary: Seifer has a sword and he would like to make sure he doesn't suck with it still. Some sparring would be awsum.

Gakupo was strolling through the park, wanting to be outside as much as he could while the weather was cooperating. He considered himself lucky that the park was so close by to the apartments.

There was someone familiar there, who he recognized as Seifer. There wasn't anyone about, so why was he there alone? He approached the other,.

"...Seifer?"

(ooc:...where is Horizon Park? *cannot find on map*)

Seifer looked up at hearing Gakupo. Honestly not who he'd expected to see. "Why so surprised?" A pause. "Don't tell me you came here for a fight."

(ooc: okay! I got it right!)

"You're meeting people here to fight?" Obviously, he wasn't aware.

"Yeah. Been a while since I used a sword."

Not since... well he had to fight a time-space god in Discedo last year actually. He cuts the air again with the sword he has, hm...

"What about you?"

"I was only enjoying being outside." He watched Seifer maneuver his blade, impressed with how it moved easily. "If you're not opposed to the idea, I'd like to spar with you." Gakupo crossed his arms behind him, rocking on the balls of his feet. "I'm probably just going to be outclassed by you, but it can't be helped."

He watched Gakupo for a second. Then raising his hand several blue orbs flew from Gakupo to him.

"That's your entrance fee. You use a katana?"

He watched the orbs fly from...from him?!

"What...WHAT WAS THAT?!" He patted himself down, trying to see if anything was missing. It certainly didn't feel like it.

"Hmm? Ah, yes, I do."

Just a pause. What... was that reaction, he wasn't sure whether to laugh or not.

"I just took some magic. If you're ready draw your blade." Raising his own he settled into position.

Ah, the situation just turned serious. He gave a nod, unsheathing his colorful sword with a distinct ring. He took his stance, sword held in front of of him with a determined look.

Time to put all that practice into use.

That... sword... It was really hard not to stare. Extremely so. ...God what was his life. Shaking his head, he reinforced his position. Right.

"Then let's start."

Moving forward he cut towards the side of Gakupo's head. Not as fast as he could go and would if his intent were to kill, but fast enough that it wasn't a joke of an attack either.

It gets better.

Gakupo sidestepped in time, crouching slightly to aim a slash at his midsection. With the swing came a melodic note, akin to a glass harp. He was taking this seriously as well.

That... he definitely was not expecting. So much so he had to jump back at the last moment to keep from getting cut. This was serious... serious... ...It was so hard not to laugh.

Stepping back in he flicked the tip of his sword up in a cut towards Gakupo's sword hand.

The move almost made his grip on his sword loosen, but he goes with the motion and spun, using the momentum to slash at the air, letting loose a volley of shrill notes, very similar to nails on a chalkboar (but prettier?) to throw off Seifer, even if for a second before he dashed forward. The coverings on his ear are good for blocking out most of the sound.

That worked. Seifer winced, free hand rising to his head to block out some of the sound. Even so he still slashed at the advancing Gakupo, more to keep him out of distance than an actual attack.

The slash hit his arm, making his footwork falter and unbalance himself. He had to improvise now and ducks beneath the blade and went to slash at his wrist, a high pitched note coming out with the elevated angle.

Seifer jerked back. In fact he stepped back farther, putting more distance between himself and Gakupo than was wise for a sword battle. Then raising his hand he cast silence in Gakupo's direction, rainbow threads weaving around the android. Silence wasn't the most dependable spell, but if he was lucky it would shut that sword of Gakupo's up.
