00 - 5

From my old journal memories:

1. Find a sentence / stanza / paragraph from a book / poem / what have you that you adore.
2. Write it out, along with the name of the source and the author's name, using your usual handwriting (and for extra points, your favourite pen)
3. Scan it / take a picture of it / etc. and post it in the comments.
4. Copy this ( Read more... )

meme, procrastinating like no tomorrow, 00 post

Your handwriting is so nice, especially your printing!

I was actually surprised by how neat my printing is when I take the time to write in my best penmanship.

My handwriting is very scrawly, so is my printing depending on how lazy/tired I am. : D

(Not guesses for where the second exerpt came from?)

(I am drawing a blank. I'm also feeling sick and things, sigh, that is annoying. But what is it from??? Now I'm curious!)

(Eep! Not the cold/flu feeling! That sucks)

It is from the 2nd page of the prologue from Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane by Hideyuki Kikuchi from the Vampire Hunter D light novels : D

I love your handwriting! I really need to work on my cursive. My writing is a weird blend of printing and cursive. Pretty much I'm just too lazy to lift my pen off of the page that I'm writing on most of the time.

I'll probably do this meme sometime this week.

My capitals need work. I don't remember how to do "N" and "Z" and a whole bunch. XD

My printing is pretty much a blend of cursive and printing - especially for the middle letters and stuff. My friend got mad at not being able to decipher my notes for Foods because it was scawly as hell trying to fit everything onto limited lines.

Aaand don't get her started on reading my hand written essays. XD Her eyes are still recovering.
Do it! I love looking at other people's penmanship.

I actually do like your cursive! I can't do cursive at all anymore except super sloppy weirdness for my signature. And your printing is positively lovely ♥

Ahahaa thanks to elementary school teachers hammering it in, in grades 2, 3 and 4, and 7.

My printing is only ever lovely when there is no rush. I could do writing samples from the notes I take in History or Psych. The longer time passes, the less legible they become.

Your capital letters are so lovely, especially those Ls! With me, even when I put effort into making my handwriting look nice, for some reason my capital letters always look like out of place capslock scrawl.

I think I'm going to do this meme, although it's now the time of year when my hands are constantly freezing cold (curse you, poor circulation!), and my handwriting usually suffers for it.

There was a reason why I chose Lolita! Because "L" is perhaps the only capital letter I can do these days.

Oh dear I know what you mean, my feet get the least circulation along with my hands. I've been guzzling ginger tea for the past week.

Your handwriting's very nice! I like the... cursiveness? of it all. Especially the first one - it's perfect letter-writing handwriting. ♥ I liked that book too, except for the middle part where Humbert Humbert talks about their trip around America - I skipped a few (a lot) of pages then. 8D

I'm not sure where the second one comes from, but for 'normal, taking messages on the phone' script, it's still much much neater than most I've seen. x3 If it's in printing... is it a New Shoe comic? :D

Heh @ letter writing, for my nearest and dearest, I don't give cards for their birthdays/christmas. I write them letters on lineless paper. (I admit I only like things up to the bit where Charlotte dies and the cross country across America is kinda....ehhh)

Actually that's my BEST printing, where I have time to write out something that's already set down. So no, my 'taking messages on the phone' is rather different from that too.

And nope not a comic! Both were from novels.

I'm going to say that Google turns up with nothing! D: How can this be possible?!

(Alright the true intent of my reply was to look at Vienna Teng's hands again.)

No chance it's from something called The Afterlife is it?

Pretty icon is pretty. Mhmmm

Ahahahah it's kinda close but no. It's Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane by Hideyuki Kikuchi from the Vampire Hunter D light novels : D
