From my old journal memories:
1. Find a sentence / stanza / paragraph from a book / poem / what have you that you adore.
2. Write it out, along with the name of the source and the author's name, using your usual handwriting (and for extra points, your favourite pen)
3. Scan it / take a picture of it / etc. and post it in the comments.
4. Copy this

My handwriting is very scrawly, so is my printing depending on how lazy/tired I am. : D
(Not guesses for where the second exerpt came from?)

It is from the 2nd page of the prologue from Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane by Hideyuki Kikuchi from the Vampire Hunter D light novels : D

I'll probably do this meme sometime this week.

My printing is pretty much a blend of cursive and printing - especially for the middle letters and stuff. My friend got mad at not being able to decipher my notes for Foods because it was scawly as hell trying to fit everything onto limited lines.
Aaand don't get her started on reading my hand written essays. XD Her eyes are still recovering.
Do it! I love looking at other people's penmanship.

My printing is only ever lovely when there is no rush. I could do writing samples from the notes I take in History or Psych. The longer time passes, the less legible they become.

I think I'm going to do this meme, although it's now the time of year when my hands are constantly freezing cold (curse you, poor circulation!), and my handwriting usually suffers for it.

Oh dear I know what you mean, my feet get the least circulation along with my hands. I've been guzzling ginger tea for the past week.

I'm not sure where the second one comes from, but for 'normal, taking messages on the phone' script, it's still much much neater than most I've seen. x3 If it's in printing... is it a New Shoe comic? :D
Reply
Actually that's my BEST printing, where I have time to write out something that's already set down. So no, my 'taking messages on the phone' is rather different from that too.
And nope not a comic! Both were from novels.

(Alright the true intent of my reply was to look at Vienna Teng's hands again.)
No chance it's from something called The Afterlife is it?

Ahahahah it's kinda close but no. It's Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane by Hideyuki Kikuchi from the Vampire Hunter D light novels : D
