Of the third year in medical school, so far:

This is the first year we get to see actual patients-from babies who can barely open their eyes to elderly men and women who can barely see anymore-on a regular basis. This is what I signed up for. A lifetime of this and so much more. But only two months in and I am already so tired. Extremely grateful and humbled, but so, so tired.
