Shipping Memey Thing

Dec 08, 2009 23:34

A few people on my flist have posted something like this so I thought I'd join in. And, yes, I'm bored.

Fill out the ships before you look at the questions!

Eight ships I like... )

Great Slash Dragon/Gaius (Merlin) (Oh, ok, I admit it, I couldn't think of a #12)

LMFAO! That would be epic. Though I'm pretty sure their entire relationship would consist of talking about Merlin and Arthur's intertwined destinies and co-writing slash fanfiction together...which might be a little creepy basis for a relationship. o_O

Who is someone you know that ships #9? [Morgana/Sir Leon]

Erm, quite a lot of the folks over at [info]camelot_love seem to be jumping on the Morgana/Leon bandwagon. While there is absolutely nothing to back it up in the show, they are just so damn enthusiastic about it, I'm sincerely tempted to get on board, just to join in the fun of the fandom squee.

THIS IS SO TRUE!! I had no real interest in Morgana/Leon, but they're all so obsessed...you just get reeled right in. Now I'm constantly questioning whether there WERE scenes in the show to back it up. XD

Because she's so darn cute. Her outfits are amazing, I sort of want to be her. And she simply can't end up with Ken :(.Emma is ADORABLE. There seem to ( ... )

You're right, possibly the creepiest potential pairing in the history of shipping.

Morgana/Leon is tempting me so much I've slipped into writing it into my fanfiction as if its canon. Like the fact that Merlin has magic and Arthur loves Gwen. THE FANDOM HAS POSSESSED ME!

How could anyone dislike Emma? I just want to *squish* her! She's one of the only characters on Glee who has remained consistent. I love that show but I have problems with characters doing things because the plot tells them to, rather than being character-driven.

So, so true. I just...God, it moves me. Every time I watch those two I feel like my heart is going to burst from the angst AND the happiness.

What's better than that?NOTHING is better than that (including about 99% of Real Life)! That's how you know you've found a great ship- when ( ... )

I KNOW! Emma is quite possibly my favorite. And oh God, the way they abuse the characterizations of everyone...it's quite unsettling. Though as it's only the first season I'm giving them some leeway. Hopefully they'll get it all together next season. :-)

THE FANDOM HAS POSSESSED ME!

Well, it's the Merlin fandom, so when you come down to it being possessed by it is NOTHING to be worried about. It just means you're that much more awesome. :-D

Oh, well, that's good to know. :D Merlin + Insanity= AWESOME

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! I was convinced that everyone else just heard pretty pretty singy songs and didn't find their melodramatic love triangles a tad trying.

Hey, look at that! Something we have NOT in common! I am one of those EPIC Rose/Ten shippers and I love them like ... WHOA! Honestly, I think their love is epic ;) But I am, also, totally capable of seeing the Doctor alone (I actually kinda don't like how they made him kiss all of his companions. In my eyes the Doctor doesn't kiss. End of story. The REAL Doctor I mean, not talking about handy!Doctor ;)) and the show did not end for me at all when Billie/Rose left and I have to say ... I REALLY hope they won't bring her back for the finale. Dunno. I am happy with the way things are ... so, you see, sane shipper ;) Can you live with that?

I agree on basically everything else especially:

SO TRUE!!!! And they are pretty, both of them, so xD

Yes, a sane Ten/Rose shipper I can deal with. I think my problem with it is mainly that I really don't like Billie Piper (and never have) and I really don't like the Doctor with anyone. To me he's asexual and its just odd to pair him with someone. However, I will agree that the show did lean towards Ten/Rose (especially in the season 4 finale with Hand!Doctor).

LOL Morgana/Sir Leon for TEH WIN! Its strange, I've never really liked Morgana all that much but now I've got Lovely Leon to ship her with, I like her a whole lot better!

that is just the thing ... one the one hand the doctor is, in my eyes, a-sexual as well (like I said, my doctor does not snog ^^) because ... I mean, honestly, when you're 900+ years old you just have more important things to worry about than getting laid. I am pretty sure the Doctor had sex at some point but, I think, only one a pretty scientific level. "Something new, gotta try" you know what i mean?

But on the other hand ... *mulls it over* I love Rose and I think they were brilliant together and ... there is just that rotten romantic in me that screams "OH BUT FOR HER ALL THOSE 900 ODD YEARS WON'T COUNT AND HE WILL DEVOTE HIS REMAINING YEARS TO NO ONE BUT HER ..." <- my more realistic side usually smacks that voice over the head but ... I don't know. I have fandom and I am lovin' all the beautiful doctor/rose stuff it provides and on the other hand there is "real life" (loool), the show, canon, and in that universe my Doc is the oncoming storm and quirky and a bit of a flirt without realising it really but totally not interested ( ... )

How's the second assignment coming along? Got any done yet? I agree with the starting of the essays thing. That is always the hardest part.

I think at the moment the main draws for Morgana/Leon are a)its fun joining in the squee at camelot_love; b) its sort of a reverse Arwen (almost, if Leon was poorer); c) they are both very pretty; and d) Morgana needs some lovin'.

Sorry! Yes, I am a meanie when it comes to Bill/Sookie. To be completely honest, I did sort of ship them when I first started watching True Blood (probably because you're supposed to), although it always made me a little uncomfortable, although I wasn't sure why. As soon as Eric cut his hair, I knew why. :D

same for me ... and I DO like the actor a great deal (brit, duh, of course I do. It's always the same with me ...) but Bill is so ... boooring by now. I don't know. Sookie has so much more fire!

And, well, yes, Alexander Skarsgard must be some sort of ... I don't know ... but have you LOOKED AT THE GUY *drools all over the journal*

I've come to the conclusion that Alexander Skarsgard is a Norse God. Possibly Thor. Its the only thing that makes sense.
