I'm not good at remembering type/specs. Its a Samsung R510, silver and black, beautiful, 3GB RAM, intel core duo processor. Its fast and wonderful. I've also ordered an external hard drive.
Hope your PC begins to live life again! I still think you should just get a new one though.

In the ongoing saga of our pc, today it developed new issues that took three hours and some new scanning software to sort.
At least, it appears sorted.
