DREAM TRAINING SIGN-UPS

Companion entry to this post.

Basically what's going down is, whether you like them or not, Mozenrath is going to train you to defend yourself against the Mist (under Facilier's vague supervision and extremely rare intervention). What does it target? Your greatest fears and desires. So what will he be doing? His very best to subject you to them. Will it be pleasant? Probs not for your character. But hey, what training is actually fun?

Use this post to sign up your character for Dream Training.
> Training is intended for students but teachers may sign up as well.
> Training is voluntary. However, it is highly encouraged, as the CR's not gonna hurt, and of course in future Black Mist Events your character will have a greater resistance to the Mist's effects. If you'd rather not, don't worry, it's not like your character is screwed. Just... more screwed than others.
> Posts are to be made to the LOG COMM.
> Make sure you have a relevant "Greatest Fear" section filled out somewhere, either in your original app or in your information post to your character's journal. If you have neither, leave me a note here so we know what to target.
> Your default trainer is Mozenrath, but you are welcome to request Facilier instead.

This dream training is going to be crucial for Black Mist Events down the road, so I highly encourage you to sign up.

Your character can either pass or fail dream training, and he/she can do so in varying degrees (all of which is up to you). If you pass, expect reduced effects when your character is subjected to the Mist. If you fail, don't expect much improvement. HOWEVER, all exposure is good exposure, and any character that goes through Dream Training has a higher chance of resisting the effects of the Mist to at least SOME degree, determined by their level of success in training. No, you cannot resist it completely. But you can improve your tolerance.

I also highly suggest you chat with ABC or myself before you get going, just so we can work out what's going to go down. This can be either over AIM or private message, just to bat ideas back and forth to determine what'll work and what won't. If you're looking for ideas on what good posts are, check out the "!dream training" tag in the log comm. In order to make it properly scary for your character, we're going to need a good idea of your character, his or her canon, and which other auxiliary characters we're going to need to rely on to make it work, and we can only do so much of that on our own. Feel free to drop us a line any way you like!
