[Chel slips swiftly and quietly into a nearby desk. She had never sat in on an entire class, and though didn't have a very negative view of her teacher, is a bit nervous about this one. Hopefully it doesn't show behind her wide grin.]

What's first?

Clopin hopped off his desk to shut the door on the sound of the bell. He turned to his class, beaming

Do we get t'wear costumes when we perform?

"Don't expect a full ensemble- we have this-"

Clopin hops over to the trunk in the back of the room and kicks it.

"-a few odds and ends to help get into character. Or if you're bored. All I ask is to keep every piece inside the classroom. Let me know if anything needs mending,"

Lottie seems mesmorized with the trunk.

"Oh, don't worry, I will. Ah. I have anothah question sir!"

Part two; the Breakdown

Clopin heaves a heavy sigh. Maybe he should have asked to work with the younger children- they were so much easier to control. If they misbehaved, the corner was the worst punishment imaginable. What could he do with a small group of young women determined to argue with one another?

"If we could please get back on track," He said. "You might have noticed that there aren't many people in this class. That might be for the best, since it will be easier to pace the class. If one is behind or ahead, I don't have to force them to stay in the same schedule as a class of forty. I can coach you individually without needing to run to the other side of the classroom for something else.

I won't lie to you- I don't think this class will be as easy as you may have thought. But again, a small class will lighten the burden."

If his small class didn't tear itself apart by the end of this hour.

Chel is exhausted by the conversations of her classmates, and turns her attention to Clopin, waiting for him to proceed.

Excited for the class to start, she runs to the front and plops down next to Chel. Why? Because she thinks Chel is the bees knees. A big grin covers her face. She hangs on Clopin's every word.

just so you know - I think Lottie's adorable

There are no words. Chel makes this face behind Lottie so she can't see, but is looking at Clopin, practically begging him to do something before she starts talking again.
