Helga finally took a hold of the axe handle, and her grip didn't change when she found herself standing on the uneven surface of what looked like...a very rocky beach.

Well. This was already turning out to be promising. First, foreboding, foggy and somewhat cold beach promised just loads of good things ahead. Second, the cavern to her left was emitting some sort of heat, and common sense told her, caves sending out heat meant lava, or in this case, fire. Lastly?

She wasn't the only one holding the axe.

It was a bittersweet feeling knowing this wasn't going to be a solo mission, seeing as how last time? She had to do everything herself. This time, a partner could not only be quite a big help, but they also held the potential to be pretty big burden too. The best she could do was to remain calm, and firm. Luck played in her favor, although she didn't know it, as she glanced over to one of her former chess students.

"Been a while, Mr. Haddock."

Hiccup could have prepared all he wanted, but nothing would have softened the unsettling feeling in his gut as he found himself disappearing from the academy, showing up in a completely different area alongside a familiar face.

"Oh, hello, Lieutenant. Nice to see you here too." The sarcasm was almost tangible in the air as his breath fogged slightly.

It was then that he began to notice something strangely familiar about the area. He looked around more closely, turning his head slightly to try and work out where, exactly, he was and why it felt so familiar when he suddenly recognized the opening into the mountain beside him.

He groaned quietly. "Oh great. This place again."

The boy's sarcasm struck her for a moment, before she just humored him and went with it. Hiccup's last remark had her hand resting on her hip, centimeters away from a quick draw.

"Don't you sound excited." His snark mirrored in her voice. "Where exactly is this place?"

"It's the dragons' nest, and it's pretty much impossible to get here without a dragon leading the way." He looked towards the opening uncertainly, craning his neck to try and get a view inside without stepping any closer. He didn't want to take any chances, since he had no idea what to expect. "It used to be the home of an enormous mind-controlling dragon that pretty much wants to eat everything." (Or so he assumed, given that all the dragons under her control kept going after food and little else, as long as stubborn Vikings didn't get in their way.) "It might still be, what with the mist trying to mess up everything good in life and all."
