Quite a bit had happened since Jasmine had first asked the Doctor about dream training and then signing up. It was enough that it made her reconsider perhaps avoiding it for the time being.
But, no. She was done with hiding, of avoiding. So long as dream training didn't kill her, it only made her stronger, right? She sincerely hoped so, knowing full well that the phrase hardly worked with the sorceror, Mozenrath.
Jasmine called out a small, "Hello?" before carefully treading into the room.
"Afternoon... Jasmine, was it?" Facilier was already seated at his card table at the back, feet up and looking completely at ease. "Come in, come in, let's get started."
"Yes..." His nonchalance wasn't lost on her. He obviously didn't know she was royal... should anyone act this casual around her in Agrabah, they'd be ostricised... or worse.
Jasmine walked over to the chairs and noticed that the further down she walked, the more anxious she felt. She attributed it to nerves, already frayed by events past and present.
The walk to the table at the opposite end of the room seemed to take unnaturally long. The room seemed to stretch before her, long rows of shelves and cabinets lining the walls framed the room, all filled with bottles and beakers and shakers, very few of them pleasant looking.
Facilier kicked the opposite chair out a little so she could take her seat, and he straightened his jacket as he sat up a bit more properly. "So. You're here for training. Any experience with the Mist so far? Any sorta run-ins I should know about?"
