Delbert had a small flashlight clamped between his teeth, and he wrinkled his nose oddly in an attempt to push his glasses back up his snout while his hands were busy holding a map. Then he shifted everything, anyway, dropping one side of the map to take the flashlight and successfully adjust his spectacles.

"Straight for another 15-20 feet or so, then it forks. There," he paused, trying to squint down at the map again, "May be a steeper incline, at some point, so watch your step."

"Eh, I still don't see why we can't just blow et all outta the way." Vinny resisted the urge to pull some of his stash out of the back of his bag- probably not everyone present would react well to that.

Elizabeth held up a lantern to the walls and marveled at how very dark it was. She shook her head at the man with the mustache.

"Wot, and bring the whole Academy on our heads?"

She smiled weakly.

"Not very likely to be of value to our students, is it? What of looking at the map and making a selection which we can delve into all together? I admit I'm not terribly keen on dividing us up."
