Hiccup isn't a hero! He's a bona-hero, but they're pretty uncommon in mainstream culture, and it's pretty easy to get them confused if you don't really know about them.

Yeah, man, it takes heat to produce a penis amulet, and what do you think the vikings did to produce heat? They burned coal--super unfriendly to the environment. They never really caught on to the whole grass-roots movement. Why do you think Hiccup never considered himself an actual Viking? His penis amulet is carbon neutral!
