Characters: Ezio Auditore Status: Open! Encouraging newcomes and past CR alike ♥ Summary: It's, uh. Good to be back. Location: The good ol' outdoors. Warnings: Ahi, la mia anca.
*walking along and trying to get inside before the rain starts up again in earnest, Blaine has his head down to avoid a droplet in the eye; everything around him is muffled, and he feels like today is going to be another slow and boring day until-*
--THUNK
*head turns towards the sound, half expecting someone to be on the ground but instead sees someone striding away with a slightly-familiar gate; the hood, at least, is familiar and he cracks a bit of a smile as he moves for the 'mysterious stranger' from what seemed like ages ago*
[ Ah, it looks like another familiar face. Ezio was once again reassured that, while he'd gone back and spent twenty more years back home, time in Vegas had not seemed to advance at all. He still did not understand it, but oh well. Life, just like before, was easier when one didn't ask questions about time travel. ]
I had taken a brief - [ ah ] - vacation, for a while.
[ A wave to you, friendly not-stranger, while Ezio wonders how much time had passed in this city, if any at all. ]
[ is not. It's what happens when people realize oh hey, I am an old fogey, and I should see someone about getting a walker. Ezio, still able to do said high-place diving, figures he has plenty of time left before requiring assistance simply for being elderly. ]
Perhaps I should get rid of it, then. [ No point in keeping it when there aren't any ladies to swoon over nicely trimmed, devilishly handsome, bearded assassins. Besides. If it makes him look younger. Hmm. ]
Strange how much time can pass. [ wilty sigh. ] A few weeks for you, more than twenty years for me.
*Blaine would take issue with that, but shakes his head and reaches over to run his fingers over the goatee and trail down the man's neck, if he doesn't jump away* You can, but I like it.
*what can he say, he likes older guys... and a shrug* This place doesn't care about time. It can pull you from anywhere.
[ That noise may very well have been a minute, manly purr when that hand touches him. It's been quite a while since there were any soft and tender touches, after all. Far too much war and whatnot. ] That's all that matters, I believe.
[ ah, the city's magic. Ezio's second dose of it has taught him that fact quite well. ] I have noticed that, yes. It is a strange magic that I have not cared much for upon arriving.
*oh ho, that was very quiet, but he is well attuned to pleased sounds and likes that noise you made; his fingers curl under your chin and he gives a slow smile as his eyes travel over you... thoroughly* I'm not much a fan of any magic here, but it does bring... some good things.
Some. [ =A= yes keep petting. Petting good. ] But not all of it, if I am to understand that much. [ don't mind Ezio just subtley leaning into that touch and totally not relaxing into it nope nope nope. ]

Hadn't seen you around. I thought you'd left...

and you use the word "ol'." ]
And I was so sure I could at least pass for thirty-five.
[ Oh, well. Have a friendly pat on the shoulder, friend. ] At least some things have not changed.

Even still, you are by a few years. *strokes his own clean shaven chin* It's the facial hair, amigo. Adds a few years, but definitely not bad.
So you just came back? How many years passed for you? It's been a few weeks since I saw you.
