I was bothered by that 'I know' response too. And telling him 'no!' NO! I was waiting for her to smile, and say she was joking or something! But, I was kind of disappointed in that second of their conversation. (No complaints on his end). As far as things he said, etc. I mean, I get that she wants him to help Izzie, I don't blame her for that. But, she could have told him a little bit nicer than that. By shooting him down saying that she WOULDN'T love him (because he still loves her after all her freak outs that she put him through, the least she can do is love him for him and not what he does for a living)... if I were Meredith (a thing I like to pretend a lot... especially when they are in bed... YES that's right! I said it!) Would be something like "of course I would still love you! But I'm hoping that you would love me enough as I do you, to get in the OR one last time for me. To save a dear friend of mine (then reveal Izzie's problem)... and then we can work out what you can do next after that. Because I don't feel at ease with
