Books recommendations... the top 5 books I think everyone needs to read are Catch-22, 1984, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Crime & Punishment, and probably Foucault's Pendulum.

Top book I've read this year is probably The Book Thief, followed by Shadow Of The Wind, The Gun Seller, and The Five People You Meet In Heaven, oh, and The Town That Forgot How To Breathe.

Movies... have you seen Little Miss Sunshine? Garden State? Um... trying to think of others, but I don't know your tastes all that well.

I've read 'the perks of being a wall flower' and i LOVE it. any thing like that you'd recommend me?

I will put your book recommendations on my 'to get' list.
Catch 22, started when i was quite young, and now i am older and wiser, i think i would love it (i was bad and watched the film first though).

Yep, seen both of those and love them.
Any films that come to mind tell me as i'm not picky about films at all :).

I'm not sure what other books I could recommend that are "like" Perks of Being A Wallflower, it's such a stand-out book for me, but The Book Thief is equally powerful. For fun I recommend any of Chuck Palahniuk's stuff up to about Lullaby, although Rant was an awesome return to form. I'll think about it and get back to you.
