It's kind of astounding how bad the housing market is right now...Being home on holiday,  I saw an 8-bedroom mansion in a nice gated community in  Flint going for $90,000. I saw a nice 2-bedroom home on the edge of the ghetto in Flint for $10,000. No improvements needed.

I don't know if Flint is a good example - the town has been belly up, and dead for 20 years. It was the subject of Michael Moore's first movie, "Roger & Me" in 1989. The movie is an absolute must see.

Yeah, I've watched it...and I'm from Detroit so I know exactly what's up. Even in Flint, it wasn't nearly that bad before... $10,000 dollars for a 2 bedroom that ISN'T a hole in the ground? $90,000 for a 8-bedroom mansion in a wealthy gated community?
