This post made me feel a lot better.

My dog died a few months ago, he was a happy dog. I still worry if we did the right thing with him. The vet did an autopsy and found that he had hundreds of lesions on his brain, and that he had lived with them for a long time. It made me sad because I wish you could have just told me his head hurt.
