Before I begin... with props to Dan Hopper, I listened to the new Appleseed Cast album (a couple times already) and it's amazing! Very very different, but I love it so much! I was going to say one song I loved a lot, but then I realized that that is alot of songs, not just one

This is great, Jay, I definitely think you nailed it. In Hebrew, every word matters, so finding that link to Daniel in the Septuagint is huge. Hellenistic Jews, which comprised much of Luke's audience, probably would have picked up on etheoroun as a signal that some prophetic imagery was about to explode onto the scene.

Interestingly, I just picked up C.S. Lewis' little companion to The Screwtape Letters, called Paved With Good Intentions, subtitled A Demon's Road Map to Your Soul. HA! Isn't that nuts! I haven't started it quite yet.
