-Sufjan Steven's "Michigan" album is really good! Go listen to it. I like it better than Illinois

-My new roommate is cool, so far we get along well

-I might take a few vocal lessons!

-I like my job.

i just listened to illinois the other day for the first time in a while and it seemed a lot different to me ... but still friggin amazinggggggg. i think i like michigan better too though.

i come home soon we can totally hangggg.
also ... i wanna start guitar lessons again.
for real.
like once a month or something.
this break we can get started mwuahahaha.

the thing with sufjan that i realized (and gabe sort of made me admit this), is that his soft acoustic songs are great and a lot of the fancy louder stuff in odd times is just kind of annoying. I think I like 100% of the quiet songs and maybe like 20% of the loud ones.

And man I never realized how depressing Michigan was! It's a really sad album with a dark feel. It's weird because I used to think of Sufjan as really sensitive and happy. Maybe he is, but that album is definitely not upbeat in any way.

Um but yeah he's cool, found him through craig's list, he's a masters student in NEC and plays upright and guitar, we get to talk music a lot.

Oh and he went to Berklee and had an ensemble with your dad once.
