Thanks! As I man I find it difficult to accessorize. Drills accent my cheekbones.

Are you going to get bumper lanes? I'm soooo envious!

Oh, and we never had Meccano. That was far too hi-tec. Bring on the Tinker Toys baby!

I still have my Tinker Toys in their old cardboard sleeve! They're in my living room.

Our Meccano had a wooden box, with properly sized compartments for the pieces, which my Uncle had made when he owned that set. I should expore under the Mum's stairs to see if maybe it's still there.

Oh yes. And there were bumper lanes. Although, some rouge bowlers (i.e. my nephew) almost outsmarted them.

Meccano requires much more dexterity than I remembered. I may be putting together some models over the next few weeks. But they'll love me for it damit!

ohh I had tinker toys..the neighbours hand meccano...we had loads of fun..and then there was the leggo!!!!

I miss those simple toys sometimes...although it still disturbes me that I used to craft doll houses and doll furniture out of cigarette packages....

In moments of despair for finding the right Meccano set, I was comforted by my Lego options. Buckets of lego should never be given away.
