i'm feeling very haxor. i'm configuring snort on my new IDS machine that will also double as a honeypot and listening to nine inch nails (random?).

so before i left for work today i rebooted my windows box (what a surprise). winblows came up fine but then when i tried to use anything on it processor utilization spiked to 100% and stayed there. the process that is spiking the CPU is explorer.exe (did i mention i hate winblows?). so its not like i can kill the process b/c explorer is the ( Read more... )

so either the fuckers at my office got me sick or i got sick from the bastard on the plane who was coughing all the way from cincinatti to boston. either way i got sick. its late and i have to do work b/c if i don't bad things will happen...

alright, this blows. schmoocon registration is closed and i wanted to go. i was just waiting to get back to the office to see if my boss would let me take it off as training time and not vacation time.
