I wasn't a big fan of beer until I got to Orlando. I guess I never gave it a chance. Although I'm used to Bud Light because it's the staple beer at college parties, I fell in love with Sam Adam's light the moment it touched my tongue.
Also, it's easier to tolerate when you have a much higher tolerance for alcohol. Some beers are just tough to get used to though. The amount of hops used in American beers is nothing compared to darker or European beers, so when you drink a beer with more kick to it then it's tough to handle, and when you actually acquire that taste it's hard to drink American beers(or any light beers) and not think it tastes like water(ex.Corona).
And unless you've changed your drinking habits drastically since we've last talked, I doubt you've really taken the time to sit down one or two times a week and sip a beer. It's quite relaxing. I actually drink maybe 4-5 at most when I go out because being drunk doesn't matter to me anymore. I just enjoy the taste.
Guiness is so gross but funny how I thought mine was so true too. Honestly though I'm more for Miller Lite then Bud Light. I have drank so much beer that I can actually taste a huge difference between those two now. Not sure if that's good or bad. haha
