iPod people...

Is there a way to exclude certain songs from shuffle (or just shuffle a playlist, not EVERYTHING), without actually deleting the songs you want excluded from the iPod?

See above for the reason why.

EDIT: sixpack6_t9 rescued me. Thanks! :-)

my ineptitude, music

Hah. Love that icon. And no, it's just I don't want to listen to Christmas music at this time of year.

It's new... when you post, there's a form field for "location" just like for mood or music, etc.

Maybe it's just for paid accounts; I don't know.

There is a way, although I'm not 100% of what it is -- you can rate them 0 stars, I think, and then they won't appear in random shuffles.

I thought default was zero stars, as in, it's impossible to rate anything below one star; zero stars is the same as "unrated"... which is 99% of what's on my iPod. And one-starred tracks are still included in shuffle. (I've tried)
