You could add Dark City to that list, but I think the additional inner turmoil and multi-level dreaming made it original enough. Besides, I seriously doubt that there is a single movie or book out there that you couldn't point to ten or more things before it to find it's influences. :P
I am a huge fan of Christopher Nolan movies (Memento, The Dark Knight) and this move was no exception. My only criticism is the timeline during the final level needed to be rearranged slightly differently. Cause the amount of time spent in the 4th level should have only been a mere split second in the falling van and everyone should have woken up at the same time. Even Leonardo's character, and Saetto should have came to, at least a few seconds later, even though it was years in there time. Only on the plane do we see them waking up shortly after everyone. By that time, I felt like they should have been dead already according to the "rules" the chemist sets forth when they first arrive. (I don't think that ruins anything for any readers)
In any case, if you haven't seen Memento yet, I also suggest that movie. There were some vague similarities between that movie and this one because of the various timelines going on.
