Yes, both the Left and Right share blame in this problem! Unfortunately...well, a liberal teacher friend of mine once bashed NCLB (with good reason), and in the next breath recommended that I read a Jonathan Kozol book. She can't seem to see that the "social justice" agenda is also to blame.
To be fair conservatives probably do the same thing, only the other way round.
