It is with mixed feelings that I write this, because in no way can my words be taken as an upsided or downsided situation with Ed. I spent a few hours late yesterday at the new Vet’s office, and I really, really, REALLY have to commend their dedication and attention to detail. The staff is wonderful there. I'll definitely keep sending positive vibes out to the Universe for him. Is he home now until Monday?

Yep - he's home now, and Lestat is tolerating the fact that he must (again) share the house. He goes back to the vet at 7:30 monday morning.

Lestat really does live up to his name sometimes, doesn't he? :P

Oscar goes back to the vet again next week to see if his body's still producing its own insulin. Maybe he and Ed should become kitty pen pals and bitch to each other about frequent vet visits.

ohhhhh! I feel for you there. I have always been terrified of the feline diabetes--having to inject a cat daily just mortifies me. My bud JoeTech had to do it--you would remember him from CNET--for his diabetic cat many years ago. It was traumatic for him as well as the cat. I hope Oscar comes out ok in the tests.
