*laughs* When caithion and i were translating Nova Bossa Nova for TIP we ran into those kinds of things ALL THE TIME.

Takarazuka has not learned yet that Spanish Is Not Portuguese ;)

I always find it very amusing for the Spanish revues as well. They never seem to do their research right lol.

Also remember.. all of Latin America is fair game when it comes to Latin revues ;) According to them we are all one big happy country family.

I honestly believe that, should I see Nova Bossa Nova, I will crack up every time I her anyone saying the characters names. They are so pictoresque! XD Kamogawa-sensei mus have been prety inspired when he wrote the show.

But still, we can't stop thinking that this whole "didn't do the research" aspect of the Revue is kind of endearing ^^ But only when it's them ;-) When I saw Southern Cross Revue I was shocked cause Rick Martin was all over the place in Rio's Carnaval (because it's always Carnaval in Rio LOL) I thought I would be a little offend, but I couldn't stop laughing XD

*laughs* NBN I think is one of my most favorite revues ever and not just cause its 85th class hatsubutai(I liked it before i realized that ;P)

Honestly, you just can't be offended by zuka really. If you are then I don't think you really have the right mentality.

I thought I would be offended by Mariposa, but really I think its kinda silly heh.

XD!

I mean I thought they'll know by now to fix up Latin themed shows/revues though their best one was "Mariposa no Hana".

Sounds interesting this "Rio de Bravo" and yet...so "Nova Bossa Nova", :)

I wonder if Tom will make a special appearence (or crash into the stage) some day to sing Amar Amar/ Amor Amor/ however this song's name is romanized. We all know she loves to sing this whenever she gets the opportunity =P

Hey, at least it isn't like in The Producers, where people actually dance salsa in rio! (I know this was said before, but meh.)

I also find this little mistakes kinda cute. It's cool to see people are interested in our country (even if not interested enough to do proper research) and relate it to 'fun'. I love to see how other cultures understand us... Not that they get everything right, but it's nice that they think of it as colorful and full of energy.
