It'll be interesting to see how this "fast track" system works this season, too, given that Heroes is a big ratings show and airing it in our non-ratings period to keep in tune with the US schedule probably won't

Heh, Channel 10 are taking some liberties there, it seems. I've never understood the "streaming" claim anyway - they should at least say something like "direct off the satellite" like the Comedy Channel does for Leno and Conan.

And, yeah, for shows like Heroes, I refuse to give our networks power over my viewing. They've treated us so bad in the past that they no longer have that right. Plus, no distracting ads, and we have a copy to go back to and catch bits of dialogue or rewatch hotness. It's a necessity in this fannish age. Even if they air it the same night, I usually try to wrangle a lunch hour break in time to go home and start the download so it's waiting right after work and would see it sooner.

Ooh, I can't see that performance up anywhere yet, but if she was cute and playing violin, I'd guess Sara Watkins from Nickel Creek. I love Sara, so I'm hoping it was her - she worked on the album with him, at least.
