Colleen interrupts by slamming their plates in front of them with a huff, startling Charlie. "One sausage roll and one salad wrap. And don’t worry about me bringing you your food, what with my very serious hair-brained fracture and everything, when you are perfectly capable of coming to the counter yourselves!"
Charlie clumps into the corner of the booth and crumples in on himself, but Kim smiles brightly and pushes the plate with the sausage roll towards him, a twinkle in his eye. "Thanks, Colleen. And don’t think you’re getting out of tomorrow’s training session, either."
Colleen gasps. "But Kimberley! I’m injured!"
"Then we’ll work around it. Of course, if you no longer want the edge over Madge Wilkins in the next bowls tournament..."
"I’ll see you there," Colleen says, and forgets to limp when she returns to the kitchen.omfg I love you so so so much for this. Just brilliant. I was laughing so hard. Seriously... I had tears in my eyes. I love Colleen

Hee! Kim/Colleen is just so very entertaining and I love the way they play off each other on the show. Their height difference alone is enough to crack me up, but I also get the feeling Chris really enjoys the chance to goof around a little for a change. And I *had* to use her hair-brained fracture somewhere.
And, yeah, we have to get the Charlie sympathy in now before he turns psycho. Heh. Robbie...I keep watching that Diner scene, and Jason *really* plays it well - they way he shoots Charlie and Kim searching looks, and the body language in the booth with Kim kind of turning his body away from Charlie, and sliding his long legs between Robbie's opposite him and...man, it must suck to be Charlie or Robbie sometimes. Stupidhead Kim. *g*
Heh, I love the height difference too. btw - Chris' height is 6'3. Sooo tall. I'm around Ada's height. And that's what I've always thought too. Chris has this extra energy when he's playing Kim opposite Colleen. And Jase too... come to think of it. *g*
Hey, another reason why I love Charlie... he's getting our boys/OT3 back together. Wooo! There've been quite a few Rob/Kim scenes... makes me wonder if they're gonna be working together a lot with the upcoming storylines. *crosses fingers*
I guess dearstranger1 knows her height comparison to Chris for sure *g*, but I can imagine I'd be Colleen-ed, too. Especialy at 6'3. Sheesh.
When I see Chris and Jason with Colleen, I sometimes think this is what they'd be like of the TV Gods had given Robbie and Kim to Neighbours instead - where the actors are given reign to let their characters loose and have fun - stuff like the House of Trouser (Jack and Kim's "Pit" which breaks my heart everytime they call it that after Robbie and Kim's room will never be the same although they do seem to be trying lately with stuff like Kim's haggis and socks in the fridge), The Timmins family, or little throwaway lines like Izzy digging at Paul about his missing leg. It's not just because they're funny, but also because the characters are allowed to be *characters* instead of random pretty plot devices. Not everything has to be a big drama of epic proportions to be interesting

Agree with everything happycynicism said. The Kim/Colleen was awesome and I love how you got your Madge Wilkins in there too.
Charlie's crush is *so* cute and painful. But my favourite part? The ride home with Robbie. I love that Robbie's perceptive enough to pick up on these things when Kim doesn't.
"There will be times. Times when you think, maybe he knows, maybe he even feels the same way, but..." Robbie sighs. "But he never will." Awww. *sniff* This just reminds me how much I miss Robbie and Kim.
Seriously, so perfect. I love reading your fic *g*
*g* Where there is Colleen and Kim, there must be Madge Wilkins. It's the threesome which can't be denied. Someone even wrote into TV WEEK this week asking that Madge Wilkins become a main character! She has a very strong cult following now

Trust me, you would love Charlie - naive country boy with an adorable (and at this point we even think *canon*) crush on Kim. Of course, his obsessiveness is going to turn to the dark side soon enough, so I want to build up his woobie case early. Pre-emptive strike and all that. *g*
Heh. You've gotta feel sorry for all three, really. Charlie for being in love with a stupidhead. Robbie for having to watch it all over again. And Kim because he's missing out. I love all my boys - I just wanna knock some sense into them sometimes. *g*
And, hee, Kim/Colleen is so popular! Someone should alert the writers.
I hope they do develop Charlie's crush on Kim - at least Robbie has someone to empathise with... Poor little darlings... I'm with you on the sense knocking, silly Kimothy!
No, if we alert the writers they'll stuff it up... 'Though I was quite stunned to learn that Shane Porteous (aka Dr Terrence Elliot of A Country Practice fame) is one of the Neighbours/H&A writers *goggle* Did you know that?
