I had the same experience, but I grew up believing he wasn't real, and I made my friend cry in this little argument about it.

i think almost every kid had some kind of experience like that. i'd never met anyone else that had someone's ELSE's parents tell them though. super lame.

I don't remember when I stopped believing in Santa or if I ever did in the first place. I know I was pretty scared of mall Santa as a kid, though. And I'm struck that Jenny's dad thought it was appropriate to tell someone else's child the truth about Santa, or call any child dumb. Jenny's dad acted like an ass.
