18 year old daughter voted before I did! (we have mail ballots). WOOT!

Unfortunately, of that 62% of voters that are women, quite a large percentage are older than 65... sigh.

I've heard the statistic thrown around that men tend to get more conservative as they age, but women tend to get more liberal. I don't know if it's true, but it's reason to hope ;-)

I can see that being possible. My worry is that as women age their level of concern about having control over their bodies would lessen. Meaning, if I'm 72, Roe vs Wade doesn't apply to me, so I only vote on who will keep my SS benefits to their current level, etc.

I HOPE that's not the case. But I worry about it.

It will apply to your daughter and grand daughter. I can only hope that we stay women even when we are 72;)
