Quite an interesting fellow. Did you notice the gender of the person who rose from the ashes was defined toward the end? Perhaps he was just tired of saying "he/she." The desire to inspire creativity in others is a noble goal indeed.
In Russian, nouns have grammatical gender, which saves you the trouble of repeating "he/she." The word "person" is masculine here, so I wasn't surprised at the "he" in the end.
