A few jobs ago, I was keeping in my drawer photocopies of a few papers analyzing Excel fallacies with conclusion that it is absolutely forbidden to use it for statistical computations, and used to show them on any possible occasion to surrounding financial analysts. Guess whether it had any effect?

the answer is easy, right? Unless such a pointy tail personally burns few megabucks thanks to a bug in Excel, he's not gonna do anything about his Excel habit...
