Amazon music.

Wow, Amazon doesn't make it easy, does it? Remember my new computer? Of course I wasn't going to save all my downloaded music to a flash drive to put on my new computer. I could just go and download all my music again. No muss, no fuss! Click a few buttons and off I go. Right ( Read more... )

Really? They must've changed it lately because I still could download an album recently.

Maybe they haven't changed it in your area?

Yeah, I looked at it recently and couldn't even figure out how to download! Now I know it's track by track, well, if I can be bothered (it's an album bought for hubby for Christmas - I might make it his job next year, lol)!

But yeah, frustrating *hugs*

I really had to search to find a bit with a download option. I had to click on the headphones at the top and choose music.

I bought an album last week from Amazon and though I keep music on my PC as a back up, I listen to it on my pad and my phone. There's an android app for those that is supposedly the "easy" way to access it but it's not - couldn't even begin to download it. I remembered before that downloading to my PC had been straightforward but nope as you say now you MUST have the Amazon programme.

I installed it got the files and them emailed them to myself so I could have them on my devices! The next day the programme started up as soon as I booted up so that now been uninstalled but if I buy something else in the future will have to do it all again.

I hope it doesn't take you too long to get everything you want.

I usually listen to music on my Kindle Fire when I'm in bed. When they made the "upgrade" to nag you to subscribe to their streaming service all my purchased music started going wonky. I lost 3/4 of the album cover pictures on my downloaded music. Things I download seasonally, like Christmas music, won't download, some of it claiming it is already downloaded even though it is very obviously not there. New purchases take forever to download as you say ( ... )

=If I try to play Flow My Tears by Dowland, I do not want to hear Satie's Gymnopédies; there is a difference between a composition for lute and a composition for piano written 300 years later.=

Don't be silly. They're both classical and are therefore exactly the same!

I had to fight with my Alexa over Satie's Gymnopédies. She insists it's pronounced "Jim-no-PEEdy."

=Of course they keep adding email, Goodreads, programs to handle audiobooks, parental controls, Alexa, and a lot of other junk that they won't let me delete even though I have never used them.=

That drives me nuts. What a waste of space.
