Oh yes, this was excellent!! Hubby enjoyed it too, though whether he got all the jokes I'm not sure, but enough to find it funny!! :D

I think that's why it works as a comedy adventure film. You don't have to know Star Trek to enjoy it!

I have this! The casting is inspired when you compare them to the original ST actors.
BTW: did you notice the order of the actor's names across the top is the reverse of their picture on the cover/poster?

This film is epic!! Alan Rickman as Alexander is one of the funniest, tone-perfect performances EVER. So many moments are even richer and funnier if you're a sci-fi/fandom nerd.

And Alan Rickman as Col Brandon in 'Sense and Sensibility' ... Sigh! Oh my heart.
