Sometimes I feel so far away and out of the loop, maybe I was never in the loop to begin with.

That's a shitty feeling.

So today marks one year that I've been in Hawaii! Almost nothing worked out the way I had expected or planned, but so far it's been so much more than I ever could have hoped for or even dreamed! Well,

Dave got selected for orders at the Brig on Ford Island here at Pearl Harbor. It's another three years in the Navy, but it's a shore duty (thank God!) contract, so it looks like I will be staying in Hawaii for another 3.5 years!
