Wrong on Perl. Larry came up with Perl in around 1985 or 1986. I know I was using it on BLACKER around then (Larry and I and Larry's BIL Mark were carpooling to work together, and Larry and I shared an office at SDC ... I was the first user of Perl).

Thanks. Correction now noted in the entry. The error ended up being a learning opportunity, as I took the time to read up on Perl's rich history.
