I loved it!!! I've always had a hard time finding Tsubasa fanfics that I really like, but I really liked the original story line and the fact that just because it's an AU doesn't mean that the charcters personalities are completely different from canon. Wonderful job!!!

I'm happy to hear they were IC. I look at AUs as a way to explore the characters in a different setting or to explore aspects of them that don't have as much chance to be shone in the main cannon, but its important to me to keep them as IC as possible.

Oh, this is brilliant. I love how this story is focused on Kurogane and Fai much manages to make good use of the other characters in side roles as well - and I love how well you've written the AU setting. And of course, when a fic is this well-written, its being long is an added bonus - more good stuff to read! =D

Your very welcome! I am so glad you enjoyed it. Playing with side characters/other CLAMP cameos was part of the fun of this. I didn't intend it to be so long but it had to be to get everything in. Even with an extension, getting it done on time took a lot of effort. SO I'm very glad you appracate the length.
