I am writing, now that you ask. Right now it's femslash (ahahahaha, WHAT), but I've got other stuff idling while I work out this new kink ;D, too, so something for everyone - I hope (my muse got kickstarted when my boss informed me that I have off of work for the entire week, even Sunday, without it affecting my pay, yay!).
I LOVE THAT FIC SO MUCH. Guuuuuuuuuuh. It was a rec on ohsam a while ago, that's how I found it. Yeah, it's just some of the BEST gen hurt/comfort I've ever seen. So inspirational. There should be moooooore, it is never long enough.
My thoughts exactly, although reading gen is still kinda new to me. I write it a lot, but have a difficult time reading a lot of it for some reason. (also, WHY HELLO, THERE. HOW ARE YOU?)

I got about halfway, and then my life turned to shit, and I just couldn't continue reading right then. I've been dipping my toe back into fandom (praying that RL remains, if not good, then stable like it is now) before hitting FC again, because healthy headspace. Actually important when reading certain fic. NEVER DID I KNOW.
It's an amazing fic, though, and I do want to get back to it. I see that you are now working on part 2. Christ, I'm so behind /o\
