That was horribly atmospheric and nightmarish. I love the way Sam is just gone, Dean has no temptation to see his brother in that body, and so really the world has already ended and the messy overdramatic apocalypse bit doesn't make a bit of difference.

I loved this. Dean will not go on without Sam. Not in any way that means anything. They send his brother's body after him but it's not Sam and Dean's done with it all. I love me some heart ripping Dean after Sam dies fic and this one just hit all my buttons. Thanks!

I just can't ever *see* Dean functioning after Sam. Even now, apparently. HE NEEDS HIS SAMMY, the end. (also, so do I. Dean-after-Sam-dies is a must have. The more crippled the better. Did I mention something's wrong with us? Because something *is* - we should get that checked out).

I've got a Dean after Sam dies fic coming up for a challenge and no. No happily ever after for Dean. Yup, nothing wrong with us at all!
